This is a cake I made for a first birthday party that had a Jungle theme.
It is a 2 tier/stacked chocolate cake with vanilla frosting, covered in fondant. Cake was decorated with fondant details, a piping gel pond, plastic animals, and palm trees made with fondant, royal icing and pretzel rods.

Booty Cake
This was a birthday specialty cake for a friend who had recently vacationed in Jamaica. I was told that she really liked Jamaica and the "Booty Man'' song by Tim Wilson that was often playing during thier trip. So of course I had to make a booty cake. I made this with a heart shaped pan (upside down) and then cut off the point. I made the bikini bottom with fondant and applied shimmer dust to the green portions to create a bikini material shine. It's hard to tell from the photos, but I also did some texturing and forming on the nude portion to replicate skin texture.

Dog Agility Cake
The Dog Obedience School I work part time at had an Open House and I made a cake for the event. We do Agility training there so I used that as the theme of the cake design. It was a 2 tier/stacked cake (note: my first attempt at doing a stacked cake) covered in fondant with fondant borders and decorative details. The name and logo were hand drawn.
The rest of the pictures are close ups of the agility equipment I created. Everything was fondant except the weave poles and the legs to the pause table.
I had to include a version of my own dog, a Rhodesian Ridgeback into the cake.
You can't see it from the front angle, but I did had a little ridge along his back. :)The rest of the pictures are close ups of the agility equipment I created. Everything was fondant except the weave poles and the legs to the pause table.

Dora the Explorer Cake
This was one of my most labor intensive cakes as it had a lot of elements to it. My niece requested a Dora cake...and then also wanted to incorporate all the characters, so I added fondant Boots and Backpack (with Map) characters. I ran out of time to include Swiper. I made the border out of cut out stars which are also part of the Dora world. My niece loves the taste of fondant and had picked off and eaten several stars before the cake cutting....and before we knew it, Boots was missing an arm and tail.
